mfd wiring

Hello I was wondering if there is any mfd guru's out their I have got an R34GTR MFD and wiring loom and Im wanting to wire this into m R34 GTT and was wondering if there is any dumbies guide to achieving this!?! I have searched this forum and others and came across some diagrams explaining what pins are what etc but not 100 % sure what to actually do. If anyone has does this conversion before and worked succesfully and has a step by step guide and possibly photos I would be really greatful.

Cheers

Iain

just one thing how are the cables connected ? hope this makes sense but I have a diagram that shows where all the wires are to come from eg ecu, speedometer etc.. to the mfd loom. However I was wondering how do you connect the mfd loom to the ecu etc!?!

eg the wires from the ecu that are to be linked to the mfd loom. Is it a case of snipping the wires into 2 or removing the insulation and putting a bullet crimp on it then conneting to the correct wire from the mfd loom. Or do you need to trace the wires from the ecu etc and disconnect what it goes to then attach to mfd loom!?!?

Sorry probably a dumb question but I havent done this before and am willing to give it a go will keep me out the pub this weekend or may even drive me to it depending on how it goes

anyone give me any pointers on what materials/cable to use etc, and is it a case of stripping the insulation off the wires needed from the ecu etc and bullet crimping them and then connecting to the mfd loom or is there a better way!?!?

scotchlock connectors would do, they are just a little blue or red plastic clip with a small metal thing inside that makes contact with the wires when closed.
can get from halfords or maplins etc.
