just read a bit more off the 'dodgy' site

Quote:

50 litres of fuel in your tank =
10 litres (20%) are burned i.e. used in driving your vehicle
40 litres (80%) wasted and blown out through the exhaust
Catalytic converters are required to burn off this excess 40 litres of fuel to stop pollution. This 80% wastage figure gets even worse during winter. When a strong smell of Petrol or Diesel is apparent when you (or other motorists) start your car and drive in the morning during winter you are not imagining it, because less of your fuel is being burned and more is being thrown out through the exhaust, hence the strong smell. This extra wastage is due to the fact that the fuel is cold and needs heating up. Minor adjustments can overcome this problem.

What a load of bo**ocks 40 liters of fuel down your exhaust.. maybe if yor using a Bee*R constantly LOL!
