Vihis,

Take the SuperAzusa limited express trains, not the local Chuo trains. They make limited stops, are much faster, and MUCH more comfortable. They may also be reserved seating, so you should try to book seats today, although I think getting a reserve seat early tomorrow morning should also not be an issue.
