Wow Ben, even with a 'poor' photo that looks superb. I can see chopped chilli's and garlic which combined with that steak looks mouth watering!
Agree with whoever said that Waitrose do the best supermarket steak but if the missus is cooking in any quantity for a dinner party etc she uses Costco...you'd assume that it's going to be great chunks of cheap meat but it's even better than Waitrose. The Tuna and fillets we get from there are sublime.....
I understand why some people want their steaks done medium but, for me, it has to be rare every time! Can't beat a really good bit of 1.5inch+ fillet that's just been shown the grill/bbq on either side.
Tonight though, as the missus is in London and I can't be arsed cooking I shall be calling on the lads at Artemis for a large lamb shish kebab (as per below) or if I'm feeling more unhealthy the full mixed special (apologies for polluting a steak thread with pictures of filthy kebabs but I know there are lot of 'bab lovers on here...)
