Well done Paul, fab photo's and great memories.

I can remember seeing James Hunt race in a Formula 3 (?) event at the Crystal Palace circuit when I was considerably younger. As we lived a mile from the track, I grew up to the sounds of racing cars frequently heard reverberating around Upper Norwood at the weekend.

Paul,

absolutely brilliant photographs.

I love the Siffert shot. I'm currently working on a film with Brian Redman, if you have any shots you'd like to contribute let me know... or they could be incorporated in the book that is currently being worked on (Brian Redman story).

Best Regards,
Nicolas Hunziker

Nice pics Paul. The Fangio/Collins at the 'Ring pic reminded me of this video.

The pics are brilliant, I love old motorsport photos. My sister used to go out with a photographer back in the 60's who took motorsport photos for the local newspaper, mainly stock cars races etc but they are still great to look at. Tiff looks weird lol!

Well i can only admit to taking a few of those, but i do own the copyright to the majority of them (unless otherwise stated).
If i find some time i might post some more oddities.

Some fantastic pics there Paul....

Out of interest, the one with Tiff Needell and Tom Lauda...do you know what year that was?? Also, do you have any colour pics of the Gulf Porsches (917 etc)???

TT

The Tiff & Lauda pic was from late 1979. I do have some colour pics of the Gulf 917's, but only recent ones.
You should have gone to Goodwood, they almost had the entire Gulf Porsche collection. I'll see if i've got any decent ones.

Lovely photo,s these brought back a lot of memories for me.I used to go to brands most weekends in the early 60,s the grand prix would be at brands one year and silverstone the next.In those days the grand prix drivers would do a saloon car race after the main event,to see jim clark in a mk1 lotus cortina was awsome to say the least.
