J64 GTR

Are your initials JGA? Or do you own a GTR, or both, and want a plate to finish off your car?
This plate is up for grabs very soon with all fees paid and on 12 month retention. Offers please around the £600 mark as this is what I have been offered from one of the major cherished plate companies, but I would prefer to stay private, and offer the plate to real enthusiasts.

First of all thank you for the kind comments.
For your information I am a car enthusiast. Im mainly into Classic cars and classic VW's. I have just bought a car with this number plate with no intention of having a cherished plate. So, I researched a GTR forum and am offering the number plate to you guys for cheaper than all the Rip-Off main stream companies will try and offer it to you.

Im sure other users on your forum would prefer to see this plate on a Nissan than a Mk3 VW Polo. But thanks in the mean time for your abuse. I can see the japanese car culture is quite accomodating.

Well considering its only worth around £250 - £400 you really dont want to see anyone ripped off do you.

As I said in my Thread opener I am open to offers. £600 was what i had been offered by a main stream company.
If you want the plate then please do make an offer. If not I would prefer not to have the negative feedback and comments.
If it does end up that no one from this forum wants the plate, or i get no offers then i will go to these other companies and will leave you guys be, Simple.
Again, I am an enthusiast and not a trader.

Buying from auction and adding VAT and registration comes to about £500, so the £600 offer sounds like a good one.
The people on here are very accommodating, just fiercely protective.

would i have seen it on club polo? my current haunt whilst i slowly make the move onto this one!
personally id take the £600 you have been offered, there are a fair few GTR plates kicking around so if you can get that sort of money for it do it! i know i would!

I registered on club polo yesterday! Ive used the bank holiday lay ins to do all my internet stuff! pics of it on there this morning with a bit of luck.

As with regards to the plate i will leave this thread up for a chance for most to view it, if i get no interest i will leave you guys be.

but you have to understand that most of us on here hate new members that don't introduce themselves in a respectful manner in their first post!

Hi all,

I am aware that last time I advertised on this forum I may have upset a couple of people, That was not intended, However I was trying to help you guys out if you wanted a cheaper than normal number plate. The reason I am posting on this forum is that I never sold the plate and am re offering it for sale.

After looking at Ebay most GTR plates are £1500 plus. I am selling my number plate, with a free car for £400! Yup, sounds crazy but it is easier for me to pass on the whole car with plate.

Details of car:

VW Polo fox 1992
1045cc
4 speed
Good condition and great little runner.

Tax and MOT till 31 Mar 09 (this means there is enough time on the T&T to re register the plate with your car)
