Renault 21 Turbo - A true classic

21 Turbo! I have owed 14 of the things! Most i broke for spares to make money. I loved them, still do, My Dad has still got his 21 Quadra still only has 70'000 on the clock & is a minter.
I had a 2 wheel drive 88 model 10 year ago which i spent 10k on it! I only managed 289bhp! I must have been mad!

But they are good fun to drive. even my Dad's Quadra still puts a smile on my face if i drive it.

That one on Ebay is an unembarrassed to the Car not just to the 21 Turbo.

love them had 4 of them 3 2wd's and 1 Quadra. very underrated car in the UK.

Used to have one about 11 years ago.Absolutely loved it,plenty of power and could still get nearly 40 to the gallon on a run.Had mine for about 3 years then sold it for a cosworth 4x4 which i might add wasn`t as much fun in standard form!Always fancied a quadra but was always warned off about gearbox problems.

I was hoping that would catch. Do you remember that Ren 21 in Black. It was an awesome flippin thing. PTS built it and it was their show car. Vincent showed us receipts for 8 grand of engine work. Spat flames all the time, straight line on high boost was incredible. 300 at the wheels if I remember correctly.

Sad thing is my friend spun a shell on the M1 and had unpaid tickets. The council took it from his house and before he could say "credit card" they had it crushed to set an example. Was in the local papers.

So very very sadly that car is now many many many cans of 7 up.
