My friend had a black tuned one back in 1998, it was awesome.. the fella who he bought it off used to work for Computacentre and when they floated he spent the cash on a then 1 year old GTR. Name was Vincent Wu I think. Didnt know what they were in those days.

His 21 used to absolutely fly. Made 310bhp, built by Primo racing.

Thats pretty much the worst modified car I've ever seen.

Many moons I used to lust after a 21 Quadra on the basis that it was a poor man's Quattro 20v.

Looking at that lash-up I wonder as to my sanity..

Hey, that's my bro your mate bought the 21 from! The car did fly,and even back then was a pretty rare sight. Afterwards he had an R33 GTR, and later a second Black R33 GTR (P1 GTR) which someone called Lee bought who used to post on here too. Now he gets his skyline kicks by taking my car out whenever he wants.

I know what you mean. aka 'The french cosworth' although not quite as fast. Obscure so much less chance of having it nicked and good enough for the french police too.
I owned a red 21 Quadra although the blue was nicest colour. Great motor, excellent gearbox and good handling for a heavy car. Even the 2wd had group n suspension. The electrics were shat though. fog lamps, central locking and electric windows they all gave up but four leather seats, rapid, comfortable and cheap to buy.

All far too old to bother with now though.
