Rob, dont you go suggesting a 265 valiant engine ........
haha useless engine? its still the most powerful racing engine on the planet. the aftermarket iron blocks are considerably more durable, and make more power than aluminum blocks of the exact same spec because they stay more true under high power and loads. no other engine is nearly as robust for making extreme power for long periods of time. if you might have worked on one of these engines you'll understand. in street trim i've seen these engines make upwards of 1000hp natrually aspirated to the wheels through an automatic on 94 octane pump gas. on 116 octane fuel with turbos, over 2000hp has been done. almost all the fastest landspeed cars with pistons use hemis. all the top fuel drag cars use hemis. what else would i want to use?
