What you say is true and I'm sure they are a cool engine but imagine what could be done with jap technology in a big cube engine.

Your big street/strip hemi's don't make alot of hp per cubic inch, even your 2000hp 550ci motor is only 3.6hp per ci, our usual fully streetable RB30's run between 5 and 6 and some more street/drag orientated run 7hp+ per ci.

Even if you went with a bullet proof, pump gas, street tune with a jap tech 550ci that could give 2750-3000hp (5hp/ci) with ease, in fact, wastn't there a blown 4 liter toyota V8 powered kit car that was street legal in the US with around 3000hp a few years back, sure I saw it in some magazine, looked sort of like a big version of an ultima too.

Your car sounds great, and hats off to you, lets see some pix and video, but beware if the japs ever put their minds to building some big cube engines!!!
