I have to say I am very lucky to have seen Ludders car in the flesh. And It will run what it runs. And as for learning the shifting. THe Seq will let you know fast you are doing it wrong. Use your head and everything will be fine. And when somthing breaks that just meens you get to upgrade.

As for the haterson here. Over the years I have been involved with serious show cars and drag cars. Everyone has there own PERSONAL program and dreams. I work on a 70 Hemi Cuda that runs 943hp and 900 ftlbs on 94 with no power adders. THe car is crazy complete street car nothing is missing it comes in at 3600lbs runs 9.70 on DOT tires no tranny break and revers patern colume shift (it a hairy ride) for all the nay sayers look here. Mopar Muscle True Street Challenge 1970 Plymouth Cuda Clone Engine Photo
This car fits no one class its legal to run 8s runs on hte street any whre he wants. Its what HE wanted to build.

This GTR is JEFFS build and its great. Does it fit in with all the Tube chassis gtrs and striped out racers and rails. No BUT then he drives buy you in your shell of a car on the top end. Knod your head and say WOW GOOD Job RIPS and Jeff for building one hell of a nice drivable car.

Fear of their little egos being dented by someone else coming along and showing them how it's done.

They are all running scared because they've seen the car run a 9.7 on its first run and they can't handle it. Their tiny world is under threat from an outsider who builds cars for performance, not maximum cost to the customer.

Truth be told, I would have absolutely no hesitation at all in sending a car to RIPS.

Oh look, another cheque book hero rears his ugly head. Is that the Begley way of doing things? Buy famous cars and then chuck your wallet at whoever happens to be your flavour(tuner) of the month, and bask in the glory?

Post count is irrelevant, you lot write so much crap on peoples threads it took me this many posts to reply to you all.

Carry on with the personal insults, water off a ducks back pal.

You seem to be hurling a fair few insults yourself mate. Why not tell us who you really are rather than hiding behind a newby poster

The most famous car I have bought is a R32 GTR. Just so you understand, If you intend to tune a car or change its colour, wheels etc it will cost money. I have spent a few hard earned on my GTR's but that makes me a cheque book hero in your eyes then fair play

As for the insults ditto Zipper-head

cheers.
i was just being nosey

we sometimes move cars round europe in our trailers, found that foam and shrink wrap works well in a box trailer setup, as well as strapping down.

awesome build btw

A small story appeared in the NZ Performance Car magazine this week introducing the R.I.P.S Drag-R to the world. The main feature is due in a couple of months time.

if you read the smaller one carefully it says what it may be capable of running in the future!!!

i believe ludders has deleted this bit so that people on here wont make a huge deal of what has been written and start an argument over what the car will achieve

ludders, look forward to seeing your car at TOTB this year will be nice to see and hear it running as last time i saw it was at RIPs with no engine in!

good luck with the car and i am sure you will enjoy every minute of driving it.
