My 10.05 cams just clip the side of the follower bore so I think 9.8 would be good to fit with no head mods. Again with a 1.5 head gasket you should be ok for valve to piston clearance, if the block and head have not being skimmed. But to be certain and without removing the head its best to stick with 9.2 lift

All you can do is book a dyno as there are so many variables, it would be best to check AFR and exhaust temps if possible.
