If you have the original Active speakers in the rear shelf then you need to run via the amp under the parcel shelf. Amp is about 12cm round Clarion or Panasonic?? unit.

Anything aftermarket and you can bypass the amp.

Not sure if mine was busted - but when I tried it didn't want to know.

Sounds fine without so the amp is in the garage gathering dust.

Send a message via MSN to kneesparks
They are 6' in the rear of the R33 so may be the same size as R32??

bin the rears, they mess up the soundstage. You can fit 6.5" speakers in front.

what you can do is snip the wires from the amp(round thing? under back shelf, check first) to the speakers, do the same to wires to the amp then join those wires to the speakers (thus bypassing amp), then trace these wires at the centre console and attach to your head unit rear speaker output.

you're not missing much by bypassing the std rear amp and the iso adaptor isn't really a plug and play rather it just makes it easier to connect the wires up.
