Fast & Furious 4 - GTR?

I got bored and decided to see if they have started making Fast & Furious 4 yet (yes - I was very bored).

I came across the following image:



Now, if I am not mistaken - thats a Nissan GTR! The confusing thing is, according to the spoiler plot it is a prequel to F&F 3 (so kind of a 2.5 that fills in the gaps between going from the US to Tokyo).

Sounds like a fairly good storyline to me, taking everything back to its roots to the first movie (considering we had all that 'gansta' bling bling crap for the second movie). All the original cast are back as well.

Should be interesting to see any further developments...

Would like to see the GTR make it as the main car (if done tastefully, no chrome rubbish and neons like before), however I can't see it happening. The two proposed cars seem to fit the characters, so makes sense (even though I don't like the Subaru much).

im not sure on the cars but it will be a pre story line vin diesel will also be back on it and the jap bloke out of the 3rd one which will make the end of number 3 where vin is in more sence hope thay do use the GT-R

Craig Liberman (Sp?) used to frequent this forum, he did the cars for the first 2 films, not sure about tokyo drift he gave us lots of inside piccies of the cars, perhaps he will again if he is doing the same job as he was.
