Question Service costs! ??

So when do we get an official nissan breakdown of the service costs/milage etc?

Reason i ask is that i just saw the other thread relating to tyre and disc costs and nearly fell off my seat..Think this would be the only thing holding me back if im truthful

the tyres should last a while

it all depends on how you drive it, brakes will last unless you track it each weekend.

It's not going to be that cheap

I know it wont be cheap but wonder how the GTR will compare with my current wheels an EVO 1X e.g 」200.00 + for each interim Svc and 」550.00 + for the major Svcs and it requires servicing either 6 months or 4.5k miles which ever 1st .

I could handle it if the services were that of my Evo IX or slightly more but if they are silly then i have to consider it carefully. I guess the free concierge pickup they provide would be invaluable also.. I wonder if that applies to things like tyre chnages/fault code resetting etc?

DITTO ....EVO 1X service prices i can continue with but too much more than that then ummm not sure.

As for the concierge service not sure it will cover all ....Only main servicing ..... This service takes resource & vehicles and most garages Ive come across never have enough of either.

I too have an Evo, and the thing I always bear in mind when making comparisons, is that in real terms Evo servicing is roughly double the figures you mention because the intervals are only 4500 miles.
Does anyone know the service intervals of the GTR?

I did ask this question at Middlehursts and iirc they said round about the 10,000 mile mark, but i aint seen anything since to confirm this. So if this is incorrect please dont shoot the messenger.

I hear that the service interval hasn't been communicted yet. Anyone know what it is in Japan? It's likely to be less (Mileage wise) over hear as the max speed is not limited.

how do you figure that out? speed is only relevent to the gear box and rev`s.
You can still redline a speed limited car.

I do the same when making comparisons and hope like most the R35 intervals are longer than the EVO1X

I wonder what the R33 / 34 intervals are that may be a hint or maybe not if the EVOX is anything to go by ...although that has improved positivley in the right direction

Just something I heard from a dealer who also speculated that the interval would be about 9,000 miles.

Looks like the oil change should happen WAY before they recommend. Nissan Performance Center (NPC) told me to do it after every track session.

Here's a blog with a pic of the oil new, and oil after 4300km... yuck... Personally I like to change oil very regularly anyway, it's just expensive but better for the long term.

Probably a good habit to have, even with synthetic oils. I change the oil after every ring trip.

I expect i'll change the oil myself between services.
