, HOM is a top guy. He might of worked at grasshopper but not necessary he is the only one working there. I have had a string of work done from this guy. Always had a A1 job from him time after time and at great prices. HOM runs the show at MIJ performance and if i heard of any unhappy people he would personally sought it out very quickly before it becomes a problem.

He's got my R33 GTR, EVO 8 FQ maintanance, repairs, engine rebuilds for life, his has a fantastic workshop, clear freindly guy with a wealth of information.

I see a few poeple have bad memories about garage mechanics, But like all mechancis they live and learn and get better with time. They all make mistakes but get better with time.

Your just your unlucky if it's your car the mistake happens but when the next customer comes in the mistake doesn't happen again on this problem hopefully.

I know as been there done that but will do most things on cars expect four things. Gearbox rebuilds, Boring out engines, Mapping and talking to car owners who want a faster car but haven't thought of the funds needed and just like to talk for hours, Sorry love to talk but I need to work.

Hom I look forward to the spark plugs I just bought of you on ebay.

The experience that Shane has had, goes back about 3 years ago and has got nothing to do with MIJ Performance or myself directly, so please do not spoil this thread Shane. I dont even need to ask you not to because I have got a million of happy customers which I regard as mates rather than customers, and they are all happy with me!

Now if we discuss this any further Shane, we will end up bringing other peoples/companies names into this and blame them as well which I think is not fair or professional at all!!!

SHANE, YOU KNOW VERY WELL THAT YOUR BAD EXPERIENCE WAS NOT MY FAULT SO PLEASE LETS LEAVE IT AT THAT!!!

hom i do not want to fall out with you but it was you that was dealing with my cars engine rebuild, i paid you plenty of money for what i had done and you washed your hands of it and left my car in pieces and parts missing and was faced with another engine rebuild.i got no word from you as to what was happening with it you knew my phone number why didnt you contact me to put me in the picture i phoned you lots of times but you wouldnt answer as far as im concerned you are as much to blame as john.

Hom I don't think you're going to win this one, But if you work all week and the garage has only one complaint then you're not doing that bad a job.

We had one last month in our garage. Started shouting and screaming and I just said there's the door and go find another one. Funny thing is he went got some prices and then came back a few days later now willing to wait until we can fit him in for our price which he didn't realise that we were doing him a favour on price in the beginning.

So 99% good and 1% bad is something I can live with and not really bothered if he never came back. There's always more cars and customers.

Shane, you know very well that I had already left GPS and was out of the country for a few month but Jonny had already arranged with Chris to fix your car for you. Now as far as I was concerned, the job was all under control and HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ME ANYMORE!! I had already settled everything with Jonny before I left so nobody would loose out but how he handled the situation after that, I dont know mate as I was not involved anymore!! I know where you are coming from Shane and you have all the rights to be annoyed but you know it was not my fault!!

Now then, Im in MIJ PERFORMANCE 6 DAYS A WEEK, MY PERSONAL MOBILE NO. IS 0770 2112 770 (WHICH YOU ALREADY HAVE). IM MORE THAN HAPPY TO HELP YOU OUT IN FUTURE AND IM SAYING THIS IN THE FORUM SO EVERYBODY CAN SEE THAT I HAVE NOT IN ANYWAY INTENDED TO UPSET YOU. hom you say that i know it has got nothing to do with you as you had left grasshopper at that stage im sorry that is not true you didnt tell me you had left the company at all but you did say you were going abroard for a couple of weeks.you asked me for £500 to help with the cost of stripping down my engine after you had rebuilt it to help you with the cost of stripping it down to find the problem which i generously did,it should have been under warrenty! the next thing i knew was my car was dumped at another tuning company in wigan and my head and pistons at the headshop at warrington and the rest of my engine thrown in the boot of the car to get scratched and knocked about, you or john wouldnt answer your phones and got sick of ringing both of you and in the end i had to pay for it to be rebuilt again this is the first time i have been able to get in contact with you and yes i am annoyed.
