200SX anyone?

Hi all my girl has got a nissan 200sx when i drove it the other day it seem as tho the power is not so smooth, as in it keeps pulling but feels as tho the power is backing off a little and coming back on. This only really happens on full chat. Any ideas?
The car is standard with 84000K on the clock so i was thinking that maybe the turbo is on its way out?

sounds more like the fuelling to me. is it a CA or Sr engine?

it might be worth checking the fuel pressure. if the turbo was shot it would be all the time after 3000 rpm not just at the top.

I'd check the intercooler for cracks, almost all of them seem to crack at some stage and makes it's run rich on and off.

Post up on the SXOC for more answers

cracks in IC piping/exhaust header is a usual problem in 200SX or maybe turbo elbow joint
