I am looking for a top of the line head unit with HD storage for MP3.
Who do you think makes the best unit?

I found Clarions to sound the nicest - a sort of warm top-end without losing any detail
![]() I like to have my music loud so the treble needs to be perfect otherwise my ears hurt ![]()

There is no "best" its entirely down to the kind of sound you prefer
Unless you're talking Alpine F1 stuff as that really is some of the best ![]()

Personally I love Alpine. Build quality and sound quality is awesome and never had a problem with any of the units i've had in the past.
Got a JVC one at the minute though which is on loan from a mate ![]()

I just got the Alpine IDA-X100 into which you can plug an iPod or USB hard drive or thumb drive. Will be installing at the weekend so I'll let you know what its like.
