caterham r500 or csr230

ive recently been looking at buying another track car while i take the liner off the road for some major engine work, ive gathered that the r500 and the csr230 both superlight versions are the best for track useage, just wondering what your (if any) opinions are of these to marques?

what track did you go around? and was it an experienced driver or a novice, just trying to guage how easy they are to drive or if it takes a semi-pro/pro driver to handle them.
