My car had its 1st UK MOT in 2004!! That makes it a long time UK car compared to most. Anyone have any idea who brought the 1st Stagea to the country and which car it was? Mine may well be it!!

There are at least 2 stageas that were brought in much ealier than that.
One came in virtually new in 1998 or 1999
