...heading to the port where it will be loaded and shipped to the US. These SUV's are built on the same production line as the GTR in the Nissan Tochigi plant. Will also be in sale in Euorpe soon.

Agree and more a shame that you have to spend 6.000.000Yen for an old used 4 years old FX45 in japan, a car that was produced here and have to re-imported through the evil japanese import customs . . .

Tell me about it. I'd buy this in a flash if it came out here for the same price as in the US. I'd even buy it if it had a Nissan badge and a silly name like Trialis or something

Can't wait to see that engine inside the FUGA!!!
The VK50VE is a 5.0 L V8 engine with 390 hp and 500 Nm. It has Nissans VVEL technology. . .says wiki.
Great stuff my mate had the FX45 in Luxembourg, bought it brand new for nippy 72000Euros, full option package with DVD and LCD screens . . . goes like hell too, never thought it would be so easy to smoke tires of a 2 tonne SUV on every day red light

The FX50 is by far the sportiest looking SUV (Cayenne and Q7 are monstrousities . .or how ever you spell that)

Ive seen a few of these in the states with lots of HKS mods including turbos and one with a supercharger and boy did they sound and look good!!!!

FX's are available an Infiniti dealers in Seoul - marked up quite a bit, but they're there.

odd that they can't be bought in Japan, I wonder why?
