Paint and Turbo Noise Question
For those that have been lucky enough to drive or at least hear one in the flesh, is there any turbo noise at all, i'm not just talking about a whine, but any waste-gate or turbo chatter between changes (sorry may be wrong terms, but basically any Psssst or woosh tish tish at all
)I ask this, as a sad as it may be (no i'm not a CHAV ) i loved the sound of my R34 (i know a lot of noise was coming through the APEXi induction kit, etc), but from the videos I've seen it's hard to hear any thing from the R35? It won't stop me buying it obviously!, but in my sad little world it would be nice to get some of that force induction noise back again)Leading onto Paint, i know theres a whole process for painting the cars, was just wondering about after market kits, etc, would we have to request body shops to paint it the same (and hope they don't lie about the 3 coats of lacquer) or get it all done at Nissan dealers? May seem stupid, but if i ordered the Harrsion front bumper for instance, I'd want it to match perfectly and last. cheers

there is turbo whir but no blowoff sound etc. the gears change WAY to fast for there to be enough time and you should remember that the GT-R has permanent torque transfer on gearchanges. you can change to blow off valves if you want but not sure what the result would be. it's just not a loud car. it's almost civilized.

Thanks for the replys, don't think i will be adding any BOV's
, but maybe a nice set of filters might free up a little woosh, shame they have made it more civilised in some ways, but hey the 90' are over i guess. It still sounds good so don't get me wrong, just getting old and stuck in my ways (now to find a GTR zimmer to match lol)

that looks like a very odd F50 to me. i driven one at the track before and it sounds nothing like that. also, play the freeway vid of the same car look how slow it is. think this is a fake...

not saying the koenig is fake, saying the one in the youtube video is very odd. listen to the sound on the freeway vs how fast he's overtaking cars. do koenig have a video of the car themselves?
