sorry, I don't intend to add to the GM bashing, but that was really funny...lmao

GM really has been making efforts to improve application of some new technologies. The Chevy Malibu is now finally competing better with Honda Accord and Toyota Camry, as well as, the new Cadillac CTS-V has progressively become more the technology leader for General Motors. Check it out.

I personally, think the different cultures of automotive performance between Porsche, Chevy, Nissan, Audi and others is an interesting journey. There is wide variance in application to make these cars go fast with focus on different details. Automotive performance is evolving quickly now. These are good times.

From: BridgeToGantry.com - Everything Nurburgring Nordschleife! - More ZR1 Nurburgring News

Is that a supercharger under your bonnet or are you just pleased to see me?

The weather here in Nürburg continues warm and dry. So it's unsurprising that Chevrolet have been out testing the Corvette ZR1 - the supercharged 642bhp behemoth that promises to make the most of your $100,000.

Without insider knowledge* it would be difficult to confirm, but I think they may have been looking for a laptime today. From my office window I spotted a helicopter chasing something that sounded very V8 and awfully supercharged...

Ferrari red. On a Corvette. Weep.

*GM: This is an open invitation. We want more information!

To me the base vette is still the one to buy. GM can keep throwing hp at the ZR1 but as a 2wd it will fall victim to closely powered 4wds. Still an amazing car for the price though.....
