Information from my dealer

Folks, my dealer (AF Noble in Edinburgh) sent me a letter about 3 weeks ago, which I've only just received today because I've moved house.

I know that some of the information contained in the letter has been discussed in other threads, but I can't remember reading any posts about some of it (e.g. the info about ISOFIX fixings). So, sorry if this is a repost but I thought you might be interested.

Thanks to AF Noble for providing the following useful information! They are clearly doing a fine job of passing on whatever information they receive from Nissan GB. Here is the content of the letter:

Detailed below are a few questions answered that have been asked when we have been taking deposits for this car.

Delivery Confirmation
Nissan will be able to confirm initial commitment for GT-R orders on or before Friday 30th May 2008. This delivery commitment will be made visible to you directly on the GT-R website using your unique reservation number, or you can make contact with myself.

Changes to Order
You can request changes to specification or colour up until four months before forecast delivery period.
No changes can however be made to order name and address unless due to marriage, typographical error.

Security/Safety
GT-R will be fitted with Thatcham Category 1 alarm, locking wheel nuts, immobiliser, super locking. Tracking System will be dealer fitted accessory. Rear seats will be fitted with ISOFIX fixings, however it will not be possible to de-activate the front passenger airbag.

Concierge Service
The concierge service is available through the manufacturers warranty period, this can be transferable if the vehicle changes ownership.

I really like that part because I'm not satisfied with body colour - internal finish options that are available up to now. Also, without seeing any cars in flesh it's quite difficult to decide which one of colour options will look best for me.

A guy from my IT company made it for me. Actually, it's not exactly a sig but more like a picture added to my message.

So, it doesn't count down automatically? Get your IT guy to sort that out and let us all use it! I'm bored with updating my sig every 10 days (approximately)! Thanks for the reminder though - 500 down to 490 now. 520 at the start - it will be here before I know it!

I'll see what I can do. However, you are not supposed to use picture as a signature here anyways
But it does count down automatically

I see your signature has changed now. Were you asked to remove it?

The animated picture is not used as "real" signature. I just write it into my message. We can't use pictures here as signatures really
Let's use PM if you have more questions. Too much OT already.

We've all been told end of may - i'm not holding out much hope for news before this. Factor in some 'out of our control' delays to further hype us all up and probable news by another week later. I'm on a few days holiday so hoping to forget about it all and return to some great news!

interesting, mine does not have isofix mounting points. the seats are held on with velcro... maybe i just didn't see it.

not being able to switch off the passenger airbag is a major problem. when you have someone sitting in the back, the passenger seat needs to be moved forward about 6-8 inches. this puts the passanger very very close to the airbag....

still officially end May, but am sure that Sharon at nobleshas some indicative dates - i received an indicative early June 2009 delivery slot when i spoke with her a couple of weeks ago, but indications were that this was worst case scenario. i think she had one customer with a late May 2009 slot, and this was the earliest delivery for a Nobles customer.

I sent a follow-up email today, asking why my request for my "indicative date" had been ignored. I was told (by David, not Sharon) that the dates would be announced at the end of May (as we all know). I got the impression he was avoiding the indicative date question. I wonder why they told you and (as far as I know) nobody else?
