Yes i can but it is as expensive as the 300v over here, pretty much the same price, hence why i was looking at the 4100 as its half the price and still has a good reputation from what ive read.

Is the 4100 still a decent oil or should i stay away from it? was previously using castrol magnatec 10w40 in my 270rwkw r33 gts25t and never had a problem with it, but have from what ive read they dont seem to have a very good reputation.

What are your thoughts?

Cheers
Jason

Its a decent oil for what it is, but it is low spec and I would be looking to use something better in the Skyline. can you get the 6100 10w-40?

Cheers

I cant get the 6100 as far as i know, im already having trouble finding any motul oils as no one sells it in my town as far as i know, so have to order it off the net, is there any other oil you would reccomend that is around the same price as the 4100? or is that the best im going to get around that price range.

Really appreciate your help!

Cheers

Yes it is ester based just like the 300v, its very expensive here in the UK but may be a better price for you there.

Cheers

Not a not lot in it I would say. The Turbo lite is Motuls budget oil.

Cheers

Hi mate can you recommend an oil for my car,
1995 R33
RB26 twin turbo (R34 engine)

mods
HKS superdragger, greddy grade 8 plugs, running 1.2bar tops 0.8bar normally, apexi power fc ecu and commander, have no idea about the power output but im guessing 400bhp

100 percent road so far but never say never

oil temp between 70 and 90, its 5w 40 in it just now but not sure of the make, and another quickie, when i change th eoil how many litres should i be putting back in, yes probably a daft question but u gotta ask if u dont know

thanks mate.

Is it ok to use Castrol's Magnatec 5W30 in a stockish R32 gtr running approx 330 bhp @1bar boost and in Belgian (cold) weather?

I only drive on the road for now, and haven't seen high oil temps yet, but I still need to fit an aftermarket gauge so I can see the oiltemp clearly

I would stick with 5w-40 synthetic, our choice would be the ester based Silkolene Pro S 5w-40. 4.8ltr for an oil change.

5w-40, 5w-40 oil, 5w40, 5w/40

Cheers

Guy

100% road use but may do a track day in future

65-75 degrees normal driving 80-90 degrees hard driving

current oil millers 10w-60 fully synthetic oil

oil is for engine but would like oil recomendation for gearbox aswell.

At next oil change drop the 10w-60, it isnt even getting up to temp at those temps. 5w-40 is ideal, ester based such as the Silkolene Pro S 5w-40 and the Motul 300v here 5w-40, 5w-40 oil, 5w40, 5w/40

For the gearbox a 75w-90, Silkolene Syn5, Motul Gear300, Castrol Syntrax, Redline Lightweight shokcproof are all ideal 75w-90 Gear oil and you will need 4.1ltr.

Cheers
