Which oil do you recommend for engine, gearbox and the diffs;

R33 GTR, RB30/26, Ported head, Tomei 280, 10.8 cams, T04z.
Gearbox has the 1-5 close ratio O S Giken internals, triple plate clutch.

Daily driver, fast road use, will be trying some trackdays. Its done about 500 miles since the total build, hopefully everythings bedded in nicely, so which fluids should I be keeping it topped up with?? I take it you do sell the engine oil in small barrels/drums?? Thanks.

For the engine I would go with the Silkolene pro S 10w-50 or the Motul 300v 15w-50 here Opie Oils - Ester Synthetic

For the gearbox the Silkolene Syn5 75w-90 Silkolene SILKTRAN SYN 5 75W-90 Fully Synthetic Gear Oil

Diff, the Silkolene BOA90ls Silkolene BOA 90 LS High Performance Gear And Limited Slip Differential Oil

All of those are ideal.

Cheers

Guy

Built RB26 running 25-27 PSI max. Mostly street use

I have seen your recommendations for ester based synthetics. I'm in America and on the Nico forums one of the techs displayed Nissans or Infinitis required oil for the G37, pictured below. This is going for 12-17 USD a quart.
I'm currently running Mobil 1 15-50 synthetic and wondering about running Motul with or Nissans ester oil, I'm curios what your thoughts are on Nissans Ester.

The tech also posted this link
MOTUL

Ester oils are where its at, to be honest I have never seen that nissan oil before, I am assuming its not available in the uk? Wouldnt mind giving it a test to see just how ester based it is.

You cannot go wrong with the Motul 300v if you can get it.

Cheers

Make : Rover
Model : 214 SLI
Year : 1995
Engine size/type 1.4 K-series

Any mods : None

Type of use road

Additional info: Currently used Halfords 10W40

What do you want a recommendation for? Engine.
Daily driver, mainly in rush hour to commute to work, and short journeys
Not a skyline but would still like a reccomendation. There is no one like you on the MG-rover.org site.

We're there but, as they know it all we're not required or appreciated

10w-40 semi is fine unless you wanted to treat it to 5w-40 fully, there are reasonably priced ones.

Car Oils | Search by Brand, Type, Specification or Grade

Cheers
