If you have an oil temp gauge it should tell you.

I would go for something like the Silkolene Pro S 10w-50, ideal for both road and track Silkolene PRO S 10W-50 Ester Synthetic Oil For High Performance Engines

Cheers

You could do but it's more for track use and needs frequent changes when used on the road.

hi,

im the new owner of a '90 R32 GTR, running std apart from Apexi intakes and unknown exhaust (am swappin that 4 Apexi N1 though end of the month) and twin plate clutch.

not sure what temps im afraid :/ not really checked. i use it as wkend toy so no real hard use, jus the odd burst here n there, may consider the odd trackday this year. im replacing engine, gearbox, diff and HICAS oils as part of a service.

what do u recommend?

how often do i change? (if not used on track, jus normal road use. if used on track id change afterwards anyway)

how much do i need?

cheers matey

5w-40 synthetic for the engine, most popular is the ester based Silkolene Pro S 5w-40 synthetic here Silkolene PRO S 5W-40 Ester Synthetic Oil For High Performance Engines

For the gearbopx a 75w-90, Motul Gear300, Silkolene Syn5, Mobil SHC all worth a look 75w-90 Gear oil

The hicas I think takes an atf fluid.

Cheers

In the diff you will need a diff oil, Silkolene Syn5 75w-90 is a good one.

Cheers

Hey guys, when I bought my GTR R32 was wondering too what kind of oil to put cuz I wanted to make a oil change asap. I've been told by a skyline mechanic who is also a 550hp GTR owner that 10W-30 synthetic is fine especially for summer because its not to liquid and not to consistent. I'm reading comments and look like no ones using 10w-30 so just want to no is it good or not. PS using the car for road and sometimes the drag for fun.
