Don't know if you have seen it but on the GTR homepage they say now stanav is standard on all versions. I asked my dealer if this will be on April 09 models or maybe since a car now ordered is anyway delivered post Sept 09 it will be standard? As usual Nissan had no answer.

supra - did quite like it. life is different in singapore, nicer, more ordered and inherently safe. no fear of getting mugged for my shoelaces by yobs.
irritating thing is no roads to drive on - it is too small, too claustrophobic. drive 20 mind you are either in malaysia or in the sea ![]() |

Rob - that's precisely my problem. I havent executed this mod yet, but I fully intend to follow it through. Will keep reporting on the progress here.
The buttons on the dash cannot be (AFAIK) integrated with the satnav. Will need to use the satnav to program, then see the output on the screen. |

Middlehurst
Hi Guys,
Just joined but have been talking to Andy Middlehurst and they are going to retro fit, replacing the sunglass holder, a drop down Sat Nav with Speedcameras/Live update for under £900 (my car confirmed June '09)!! Since I will be wearing the sunglasses this doesn't sound like a big deal! It is going to be covered under warranty and fitted professionally with carbon surround and can be pushed up out of the way when not being used - bonus is it does not take over from the lateral G monitor on the main screen! Hope this helps, Rog. |

They removed the sunglasses holder in the roof liner where it sits just in front of the rear view mirror. The space above is quite deep all the way to the metal skin of the roof. Middlehursts are having a carbon fibre insert made which sits in this space and allows teh TomTom to hinge down when needed. The TomTom's can be removed from the window holder, have their power cable and GPS aerial wires added and routed to better positions. My only reservation will be whether teh RVM is blocked when it is in the down position. |
