Still like the sound of the middlehurst system if it's a bespoke carbon mount they're providing. Likelihood is the TomTom system will be better than the OEM version. Anyone know if other HPCs will be offering something similar ?
Came across this other alternative while browsing. Fits over rear view mirror and also has ability to link in to a reversing camera. MS5200RDTA with 4" monitor, Conrad Anderson UK, Satellite Navigation, SatNav, VDO Dayton When you see the alternatives that are out there I'm becoming less and less concerned about not having gone for the OEM satnav. Even my Iphone upgrade (coming 11 July) now has GPS sat nav built in and I understand that you can get the iphone display on to the MFD if you want. Where there's a will |

technology changes all the time and you're probably right that by the time end-2010 comes along the std fit satnav will be pretty much outdated. - still wish we could find out the exact spec of what is precisely included in the std fit package though???
