my r34 won't start. the car previously had a r33 cam angle sensor in it, and i wanted to put it back to original so we put a BNIB (brand new in box) r34 cam angle sensor in it, and re-pinned the connector appropriately.

josh with RB who came out to put my motor in, said he believed the injectors weren't firing. we re-pinned the connector back to r33 and plugged in my friend's r33 sensor (modified wheel to run an AEM EMS) and even though it won't bolt up to my r34 tomei cam, he spun the sensor by hand while someone was cranking the motor and we could get the motor to at least backfire slightly.

this leads him to believe that my new r34 sensor is defective.

is there a way to test this?
