I'd agree with lum90 and Crail, unless you get extremely lucky and find some poor soul who has no choice to sell and no buyers I do not think you have much chance of getting a reliable, road worthy R33 GTR for that kind of money - Certainly not one in this country, you may find something at auction in Japan though.
The trouble is that getting something that warrants a price as low as that will almost certainly require some major work to get it to an acceptable standard. E.g. this R32, which I take to being A+ standard (
Immaculate 32 GTR for Sale) went for a substantial amount over £5.5k (and it’s an R32!)
Still, don't give up looking, you may get lucky. However If you do find one please please make sure you get it thoroughly inspected first, otherwise you may be looking at a car needing some major (expensive) external and internal 'mending'. (have a look through the For Sale section here to gauge an idea of how much parts go for, as well the average costs of 2nd hand cars that a respected within the GTROC.
