also, (and ill probably get flamed for this) up here there are loads of people being laid off, mainly builders etc. i have no doubt that if they owned a skyline they would be able to afford the repair bills etc whilst in employment. once that employment ends though, to shift the car quick would mean to sell it cheap.
the way things are, im sure you will find a desperate seller and bag a bargain. it may be different round the country but up here the building trade especially is really getting hit hard.
it also seems harder in general to sell cars up here for some reason.
