Thanks Mava, its true, i have a friend whos just been laid off from building and the knock on effect is inevitable.

I have a sneaky feeling some of the replies have been from owners who are trying to protect/justify high prices in the current climate.

Im not trying to snatch a bargain from anyone, im in the same boat, trying to sell my car, probably for what it was worth 6 months ago. Ive come to the conclusion (hence my original post) that car prices are falling at a stupid rate and probably its more serious than you would like it to be, but you cant argue with advertised prices and just because something is cheaper, doesnt mean its crap, although you would obviously have to be more careful.

Im also not stupid enough to sell my car for less because of this and then pay big money for a GTR. Why should the GTR hold its price when everything else is dropping like stones.

Sorry to all the head in the cloud GTR owners who still think their car is worth more than the current market value, no doubt there are people out there who will pay big money, but there are alot more people who a) havent got the money and b) if they have, dont want to spend it on a luxury they could do without.

As an example, there is a nice looking EVO on Ebay at the moment for ALOT less than many others, shame its just over my budget but its proof that car prices have fallen.

DONT CLICK IF REALITY HURTS
