The GTR is starting to get put up against some ridiculous cars now - performance per pound it's a giant killer, but outright no-one can act surprised or try to talk it down because it doesn't beat cars which all cost well over twice as much!

Gumpert: £160k
Carrera GT: £320k
997 GT2: £130k?
GTR: <£60k

lmao, probably the best result to date, 0.01 seconds slower than a gt2. I for one think thats an incredible result.

Do we know if this car was an import? Has it had the recent mods that the 7.29 ring car had?

Loaned by ECU experts ECUTEK, so it must be an import as no UK cars are anywhere near being sold yet.

Ariel Atom 3 - 1:21.5
Brooke Double R - 1:22.5
Carrera GT - 1:23.3
Porsche 997 GT2 - 1:23.5
Nissan GTR - 1:23.6
Mitsubishi Evo X SST - 1:29.3

Of course, what Mr. Barker didn't let on was that he bottled it up to the brake point into O'Rouge. Compare the track speed-position trace in this month's edition (Iss. 119 "Circuit Breakers" pg. 161) to Iss. 116 "New World Order" pg. 091). Peak speed before braking at O'Rouge is *only* 96 mph, whereas Bov kept the faith and nails the ton... An easy 0.4 secs. wasted by Barker

I rest my case...
