great race in Japan, Rossi as usual performs surgery and takes apart Stoner, takes the lead, wins the race and the championship. The man's a genius, rides completely in control. Total hero worship here...and then he's going to race WRC rally cars after the bike season is over, for his vacation!!

But perhaps not the gutsiest; some of the footage from other riders - they were hitting over 290kph on the straights before braking into a 40kph-ish turn, then back up to speed. Rossi never broke 280kph. Stoner would brake so hard that the rear tire would lift about an inch, madness!! Nicky Hayden drifting the rear tire out flat-track style. These guys are total mutants, it's real sport ten times more than F1 or racing around in a cage (literally!!).

next season - I'm looking for some serious wild action from Hayden. A Kentucky dirt rider on the untamed and unruly Ducati should make for some awesome racing! Hayden and Rossi went trackside and watched the 125cc race together - even though they had their own big race coming up, they still went out to support the younger riders. Very classy, cool people! The best champions are humble, with lots of character. The kind of guy you'd have a pint with at the pub.

watching MotoGP, then looking at the total joke of F1...F1 doesn't even look like a sport anymore. The skill level at MotoGP is far and above. Multiple lines, passing opportunities galore, and at any moment your bike can highside and throw you twenty feet into the air at 200kph. F1 can go to pot for all I care. If I want to watch cars, I've decided to watch NASCAR. Yes, it's just an oval, but there's actual competition and people crash out at 340kph if they make a mistake. That's a real sport, not a sanitized advertising vehicle for Ferrari.
