No oil pressure when priming turbos, need help and/or advice!

Got an odd and very annoying issue Do not that everything was fine before swapping tubbies.

I am trying to prime my new tubbies, Nismo LeMans (I know, old stuff but bult on so...), and have taken out the fuse for the fuel pump and removed all the plugs. Have also fitted a oil filter relocation kit incl. a thermostat and oil cooler
Ok so after this, with a freshly charged battery, I run the starter motor for a few secs but no oil pressure... the red light stays on!?!
So I though that I must have messed up with the thermostat or something, so take of the hoses from the adapter going from where the oil filter usually screws onto, and not a drop of oil. Tried running the starter again and nothing comes out of the hoses!?! Take the oil filter relocation things of, inspects it all and then put it all back together. Tried again and still nothing

How long do you need to run the starter before oil pressure should be building up?
How much pressure should you get when running on the starter?

Well, seems like I will be answering myself here
Spoke with another friend who drives American "shrudder" cars, told me to run the starter for at least 1-2 mins before you get any pressure... Tried that, an bobs you uncle, the oil pressure light goes of
Even got oil into the oil filter sitting in the relocation spot

This one goes to the archives I guess, hopefully it will help someone else out in a similar situation in the future

1-2min??? you should NOT have to do this... using your starter for more than maybe 15-30 seconds (depending on the car/starter beefiness) at time will cause it to overheat and eventually prematurely fail. If you cranked for 2 minutes I hope you gave your starter motor a few breaks.

You should be building oil pressure (oil press light goes off and oil pressure gauge moves) after no more than 30 seconds I think.

Ran 3 or 4, can't remember anymore, session of about 20-30 secs per session...
