Maybe Andy can strap his BBQ to the back of the transporter... dunno
Mine's broken as I threw away the grille at the bottom by accident when getting rid of spent charcoal, doh! Besides, we can't fit it in the Hatchi, with parts, tools, etc + Daniel and I inside for the trip to Nikko unfortunately. I put a cheap BBQ in the bushes last year, it might still be there...? It's only tiny though.

Your awning might be nice, but you can't cook under it..

We usually rig up a couple of hammocks under the pit roof, assuming we get there early enough.... but people are usually afraid to lie on 'em cos they look flimsy (...they're not! ).

Just spoke with Allen ans did some arm twisting. Told him I'd tattoo his forehead with a mirror image of "I live to drift at Nikko" if he didn't say yes... So you can count him in.

Now we just have to work on that madman Tomo and maybe get a few of his T50 Club buddies to join in and we can have a little bit of screaming 4AGE heaven.

Good to hear James is coming from Nagoya too.

Paul, yeah - A la Carte Menu with Silver Service pleeez!

This is going to be fun, looking forward to it!

Spoke to Tomo... He's drifting at Fuji on 27th June, but will see if he can make this also.... More arm twisting needed, me thinks..

I can confirm that! after a few rides now in tomo's car. you guys may all think miguel is a madman (and he is) but tomo is a whole new level of crazy. I'm not even sure his car has a rev limit but I have seen his tacho sitting on the fun side of 10,000rpm! I have some awesome in-car from his hachi last time at the little drift course it's worth wathcing just for the sound. When i'm back next i'll bring copies for you miguel and for tomo. there must not be a japanese word for 'mechanical sympathy' and if there is he certainly doesn't know it.

for your own sanity though if you ride with him do not make the same mistake I did and let him show you pics of the hachi's he has written off on the track.

I wish I was up your way now guys, a bbq and some drift is a great combo and I need a break! I'm sure it will be a top day out.

Still I can't sulk too much, my new N1 Nur based Prime Garage built 26 crate motor just arrived and the second R35 I've imported arrives this week too. On the docks right now so lots to do.

I will see you guys in a few months time.

I hope you have nice weather and may all your track time be traffic and debris free.

bush bashing

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarh Miguel stop twisting damn it!

You guys are pure evil. Make me wanna get nasty too!

Also do any of you guys know how to spell my name?
It's the other version "Allen".

The other BBQ should still be in the bushes too. Maybe we can get some seafood too. Daniel was good with the pliers (his personal favorite toys!)

Tomo is in a league of his own. You guys should see his all new SUPER light weight AE86 wearing signs of battledamage on it too.
There are no glass windows left apart from the windscreen so the acrylic windows have been permanently bolted on. So there is no chance of winding the windows down either!!

Get ready to sweat!

Anyway it is still not as bad as ANDYS (AKA Conan the Barbarian) drift sauna!

Good, looks like I will have some free time away from the grill to score some free passenger rides. I am down for the craziest driver, I will eat after the drifting has ended, or should I eat before hand as my last meal? Seafood, what do you have in mind? Some large shrimp, like we had @ my house Miguel?

Dino, you can eat a steak standing up, can't you? Don't worry, I will not make pasta or anything that requires sitting down, but for those that are not professional eaters, I will have a plastic folding table with seats (4).

Nothing like a bunch of gaijin making a scene - cool.

Beer Baron, I don't think you've seen Tomo's car since he stripped it even more. It's pretty much as stripped as it can get. Even the headlights are off now (Just Trueno covers). I can't understand how he still hasn't managed to blow it up - he give it hell at least once a week on track days (It's no longer road registered).
Running a standard blacktop 20V running 304 cams and a decent exhaust manifold on a Freedom ECU it makes approx 180 bhp... !!
He told me last time he blew the diff, but managed to switch the rear axle in between sessions, without missing any track time at all. Nutter.

He was also telling me on the phone Nikko is now his favourite track, so my guess is he's gotten pretty good on there by now. The man drifts probably even more than Andy!

Dunno what Andy's planning to bring, hopefully his mad RX-7. If so, then this will be the craziest ride of all on offer, I expect... He's about to join D1 street legal, so he's bound to give some exciting rides!

Paul, some big prawns would be great
It would be good if everyone just chipped in and paid a bit for food and drink. That way there will be plenty to go around. We'll probably want to feed some of the Kazama crew, etc. too.

Just what I had in mnd, if I can rent a van, I will also bring a cooler with loads of H2O or Gatorade to keep everyone hydrated. I really can't fit much in the R, especially since I have to keep the food on ice. I think aout 1,500 - 2,000 yen (each) will provide plenty of food, drinks, utensils and other necessities for us, what do you all think? Steak, burgers, dogs, prawns, drinks for an all day event should be good, I think I can even manage to get some cookies, Chips A'hoy that is.

Like swimming, please wait at least 30 minutes before drifting after eating or else
