GTR Dealers Take Note - it's all in the biscuit!!!!

found this courtesy of the BBC.

"About four out of five UK businesses believe the type of biscuit they serve to potential clients could clinch the deal or make it crumble, a survey says.

The outcome of a meeting could be influenced by the range and quality of biscuits, according to 1,000 business professionals quizzed by Holiday Inn.

The chocolate digestive was deemed to make the best impression followed by shortbread and Hob Nobs.

Lawyers were most impressed by good boardroom biccies, the survey added.

Dunking Do-Nots

Jammie Dodgers and Bourbons were also among the biscuit types thought to help sweet-talk customers.

However crumbly biscuits are a big no-no in the meeting environment, the questionnaire found, with 30% frowning on a regular digestive in the work environment.

And when it comes to helping yourself to biscuits from a communal plate, the most acceptable number to take is two, the research concluded.

However more than half of respondents looked down on dunking biscuits in tea or coffee during a meeting.

A survey released last year, which quizzed 7,000 people, suggested that the custard cream is the nation's favourite biscuit. "

Dealers - if you want that deal you now have a secret weapon.......

'Like Biscuits On The Beach: Hob Nobs In Lancashire
FIRST the motorbikes. Then the wood. Now:

Thousands of packets of chocolate biscuits have washed up on the Lancashire shore from a stricken ferry.

The McVitie’s biscuits were being carried on lorries aboard the Riverdance, which ran aground off north shore near Blackpool on Thursday night.

Can you salvage chocolate biscuits, pre-dunked ones?

The UK takes the Anorak Holiday Cup, a trophy fashioned from discarded penguin biscuit wrappers and sponsored by the Biscuit, Cake, Chocolate and Confectionery Alliance'

Above taken from anorak.co.uk blog, posted 2 Feb 08. Honest Anorak News » Blog Archive | Like Biscuits On The Beach: Hob Nobs In Lancashire

Just hope that's not where the dealers hob nobs are coming from

TUC TUC TUC, this thread really takes the biscuit. You're all jumping on the biscuit Wagon. Wheel I thought all you Ritz guys would have something better to do with your Timeout. I've been a Wafer a few hours and there's more in the Club. Driving me crackers all this waiting for specs and info. Been watching the GTR Drifters on youtube meantime.

Hovis asking about sat nav. I was caught Twix having it or not. Have they sold us Short. Bread required £ 1900. But Jaffa laugh in the end, the Bandits have Fox us good and proper. Hard to Digest.Ive gone for non sat nav and some Echo my decision. Still, with or without, the GTR's a Classic and (Mini Roll on the drum) the Blue Riband events leading up to our delivery will bring Happy Faces to us all.

Think I'm starting to crack, need a Breakaway, I'm going to grab a Taxi and Go
