Who's going to Goodwood
As there is a thread relating to the Motor Show in London, I thought I'd start one about Goodwood. It's on before the Motor Show, and the GT-R will definitely be there in all it's glory. Plus you'll get to not only see loads of exotica there, but hear it too (unlike the motor show!)

Dates are 11/12/13 of July (Fri/Sat/Sun) I've got a set for each day, but I'm gonna have to give at least one of them up, if not 2 sets. Hope not as I'd love to be ther all weekend, not only for the cars, but to meet some of you guys, especially the ones that can't make the motor show.

We are definetly going on the Sunday & having a few days in the area afterwards. I havent ordered any tickets yet because I was led to beleive from Andy Middlehurst that we would be invited by Nissan as happened with the 350Z

I'll be there on the Friday as it's in my home town
![]() A word of advice though, I recommend going on the Friday as the weekend dates will be stupidly busy and the traffic from prior experience is a nightmare!

Thanks for the tip! Sister lives in Pompey though, so now I've got a dilema. Stay and have a few drinks all weekend, and anger my colleagues, or miss out on the whole weekend to please others........hmmmm tough one!!

Go for Southampton - you can get there from Edinburgh or Glasgow on BE.
The airport is just off the M27 which becomes the A27 and takes you all the way to Chichester and from there it's only a couple of miles to Goodwood. As others have said traffic is murder - when I used to live down there I'd get there at 6am! Unfortunately I haven't managed to get there for the last few years.

When I spoke to my dealer last week about Goodwood tickets all he would say was that letters were going out shortly about the events.
Now it would seem people have started receiving their Black envelopes, but I think they are only talking about the Trackdays (havent got mine yet )When I had my 350Z on order I was invited direct by Nissan, not the dealer. It was a brilliant day out. Either way its only a month away so they better get their finger out. Needless to say the Concierge know nothing about it ![]()
