Non UK EU orders. How much info do you got? - GT-R Register - Official Nissan Skyline and GTR Owners Club forum

Been browsing through some threads here and it looks like the UK customers is way ahead of the rest of EU. Just wanted to see how much info others have got.

This applies to NON-UK orders!

So far all I've seen is estimated delivery month in the profile page on gtrnissan.
No black box in the mail. No exact date of delivery, no invite to Nissan Race academy.
Got the confirmation e-mail on the 5th or 6th of April and that's pretty much it.
Anyone with more info regarding the mainland EU orders?

Nope, none.
I haven't heard a thing. Not from my HPC, not from NISSAN EU. No mail, no phonecall, no e-mails. Pretty poor.

But you've got your log-in details with spec and delivery month on the gtrnissan webpage right?

All i got is 3 or 4 emails from Nissan........

But as i visited my dealer yesterday i could see the list with the date of the delivery (not finalised yet),which tells my car will get to me between 14.5 and 10.6.09.......and i could testdrive his GTR for 1 hour,far better then a drink in front of the GTR@ Geneva

I dont care about any news from nissan,as long as they deliver my car as fast as possible

They may have the wrong email of you.......

Maybe ask your dealer whats up

I'm on the phone with consierge now.
Shoul be able to sign in to the events site but there is something wrong somewhere. They're looking into it as I type this

Edit. Darn. Only the owner can attend. I was hoping to send him abroad or something so I could fill in

Yes, those are the only two I received.
But they can keep there (e-)mails and gimmicks and just arrange a demo car for me to drive...

Just noticed that the preliminary date on the gtrnissan site hase been changed from June 2009 to April 2009 YAY!

edit: but I still can't log into the events page

Mine was initially March then was moved to June and still stays there

Did Nissan actually say you that people outside UK should be able to login too?

I rang the Concierge service 2 days ago and they said that all EU customers should be able to log-in. They was going to get back to me after they had fixed the login problem but I haven't heard anything from them still.

Maybe they were mistaken and it's only the UK customers who can login so far.

Is there anyone outside the UK who can login to the GT-R Events 2008 page?

Receyved today my login for gtrnissan.com
Only today becouse the email address was wrong.
delivery date: october 09 (stanav)

nothing else.

Are you on good terms with your dealer? I live in UK and although I have ordered a UK car I would like to view the car without having to return to the UK (although I will if I have to). I've booked a date for a test drive around the Nurburgring on the 18 Sep. Do the German buyers have any different dates I may be able to tag along on???

It would be convenient if everybody says / mentioned from what country they ordered;

I ordered my GT-R the first of april with the only offical GT-R dealer in BELGIUM : Group Merckx N.V./S.A.

The only thing i recently received after calling a couple of times was a mail stating that I don't have to worry , my car was planned for delivery in april; but no fixed date.

Two days later I got an "official" email from Nissan; stating the same;

But when I use my login details for the gtrnissan.com page; I only see my initial order, no delivery date is given, nor can I subscribe for an event.

I am a little dissapointed if I read here on this good forum, how much the UK people have compared to us..
