Cant beleive it!!!
After our recent discussion about mobiles on the forecourt , i couldn`t beleive what happened on Friday night.
Pulled into a BP petrol station in Aberdeen. I was still on the phone as i pulled up to the pump. Before i knew where i was the petrol station women had flown out the garage , up to my car , opened the door and was standing screaming hysterically that i was going to blow up the station. I explained to her that it was a load of rubbish but switched off the call and filled up. Whilst filling , another lovely women then came up and started abusing me calling me all the fu**ing idiots under the sun. I explained my job and she retorted that she had an e-mail from Shell about it. I responded that she received `junk` mail from someone at Shell not an e-mail from Shell itself about the matter at which point she told me to f*ck off and drove off!! I went to pay for petrol and insisted on seeing the manager about the matter. I was told that he wasn`t available so i said i would leave my e-mail and any further facts he needs about phones at petrol pumps , i would be only too happy to oblige. I was then told how i was speaking rubbish because a petrol station in Glasgow has blown up because someone used a phone in the forecourt!!!
Bizzarre to say the least, isn`t it amazing how an urban legend can actually get this far out of hand!!!
