Hi,
Problems have occurred in the process of uploading photos. I thought that I could use picasa, but their terms of use downright make it so that it's not a good idea to use it: Quote:
If anyone has a server where I could put some pictures on and it would allow simple file listing, that would be awesome as my own ISP doesn't have indexing.. ps: I'll tinker homemade indexes, but that'll postpone the date when pics are posted. I wish I had internet at my friends place ![]() I am sorry. -Vihis Last edited by Vihis; 9th July 2008 at 08:52 AM. |

Vihis -
Take it from me, as a lawyer - you are going to find this kind of language on all of the major service providers. All it is really saying is that they can publish your photos to the general public, which is what the service is all about, really. It does NOT give them any ownership rights to the content - just reproduction rights, so you will remain the owner (copyright) of the photos. If you are still concerned, talk to some of the people at Daikoku tonight about how they protect their work. Russ, Dino, etc. should have some ideas, for example putting your name and the words "Copyright 2008" in the photo somewhere.

Any time you show pictures on the internet, anybody can copy them - just a fact of life. No biggie.
I use Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket it's free and easy to join and start uploading pics. See you guys tonight at Daikoku. Miguel |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Due to these unforeseen circumstances, I am sorry to say that this is all I had time for today, now I must leave to home to get ready for Daikoku. I'll try to make haste to post you guys the rest of the pictures tomorrow before leaving for Shizuoka. See you later -Vihis Last edited by Mookistar; 9th July 2008 at 07:04 PM. Vihis - FANTASTIC PICTURES!!! Thank you so much!!! The action shots are especially nice! (May I use some on my blog - I will credit you, of course!) Forget being an engineer, you should be a photographer!
Also - great to see you again tonight, even though just briefly - I hope you were able to enjoy Daikoku, and the Z-cars that showed up! Again, feel free to call when you have time - at the very least, let's grab a drink before you leave Japan! Aki

OK, I have my new ignition parts in. Yay!
So I'm toying with the idea of going up to Hakkone earlyish on Sunday evening (Weather permitting), where I know a tight mountain road with lots of tight hairpins, to practice the techniques we learnt at the circuit ... Anyone fancy joining me? The more the merrier... |

Ville, thanks again for these awesome pictures! I think we had better nominate you to be our official photographer at all of our events!
Let us know when you're back in the Tokyo area - we all owe you at LEAST a cold one! Aki
