It's open for bacon rolls at 8:15. The driver briefing is at 8:50.
Enjoy!

Had a brilliant day this morning (27th), really a first class event and so well-organised. Two points are very impressive in comparison to other manufacturers days:

1. Real hard track action on all 4 events, with encouragement to push the cars properly.

2. Some real quality touches such as using the BRDC facilities, getting the special GTR helmet to keep and also all the videoing of events.

Truly a first-class day - I've done the Porsche day at Millbrook in a 997 GT2 by way of comparison and this was much better.

I didn't get my team members names, but we all had a lot of fun are all now desperately waiting for the cars to arrive.

Oh - thanks to Nissan for the nice polo shirt

Got back from the event yesterday and still beaming.
Great set of guys over there - looking to you at all times.
The driving was awesome - having never done anything like this before i was bricking myself, they let me take everything at my own pace,
The car was as i thought it would be - Great

Want to get this drift thing down so could be looking at maybe having a bit of tuition on this - would never have dreamed of doing anything like it before.

Did the guys attending the past couple of days have a GTR on the Stowe circuit for the Superpole or 350Z'ss??

The reason I ask is that a guy has posted a long report on Pistonheads re his Academy Day and they used 350Z's, whereas I went 21 August and used a GTR.

Have some GTR's gone pop...or is there another reason???

David

I was there on the 26th and used the 350z for the superpole - didn't know that the GTR's had been used for this.

I was there 22nd August PM, it was GTRs for superpole. They all seemed in one piece when we left!

There was a wounded 350z following the drifting, but that was it.

I have to congratulate Nissan on running an excellent day. Great fun.

I was very impressed with the whole show and I was simply blown away by the GT-R. What a really really fast car, yet so manageable. Its ability to place the power down so early and manage it is amazing.

I think its credit to Nissan for building such a car, and shows incredible believe in the car to let 30+customers a day loose on the car. And say to them to push the car. And after 300+ customers have done this the cars are still excellent.

Credit where credit is due - Well done Nissan for producing such an awesome car that is extremely solidly built.
