So far I've got my SL55, old mans F430, hopefully an LP640 and a couple of skylines......and a mini cooper but the works one. More the merrier.

Thinking of doing the plymouth - roscoff ferry overnight on the friday, drive there sat, pound the ring on sunday and then the event on monday, then back through paris etc.

V350....mmmm Amsterdam, however, we might come back that way, 50 Euros = "suck and.....um....er....what was it again...

Give it respect and you will be fine, let the red mist decend and think you can drive on a racing track and it will bite back..

I'm taking a £50k Audi over and will bring it back.....

Brave man tempting fate like that!

I'm heading down on the Saturday too in my Z06 and also staying at the Tiergarten. Mmm, steaks in the Pistenklause!

I haven't booked my Eurotunnel tickets yet, maybe meet up?

BTW, for you 'Ring noobs, the Hotel Am Tiergarten is THE place to stay in Nurburg and is much cheaper than the Dorint.

All the race drivers tend to at least eat there even if they don't stay there.

It is owned by Sabine Schmidt's family and last time I went we stayed in Sabine's guest house which is a sort of separate annexe.

Has anyone received a letter confirming that they have a place on the day booked?

I received an email that said a letter would follow, but haven't received that yet.

Nothing at all - perhaps a little pressure needs to be applied.....

Don't know if this applies to the Nurburgring days but I was chasing up details for Silverstone (as I'm going on the first day) and the view yesterday was that this is with the agency that Nissan use and "the mailing is about to go out".

Hey, don't even say that it is possible not to get our confirmations in a letter!!! Is it possible for them to deny our bookings??
I thought that my place is 100% sure when I booked it online and got an e-mail from Nissan. I have already bought the plane ticket and I am about to book the hotel...

No need to panic then, if nobody has received written confirmation yet.

I was just going through my emails and noticed it said I was going to receive a letter "shortly" and that email was sent 5 weeks ago, that's all.

Chubby, what time Eurotunnel were you thinking of taking to get there?
Are you starting your journey from Nottingham or further south?

Oh and how come you know the actual date of your delivery, not just the month?!

I rang the concierge last week and we should recieve written confirmation though the post. I asked the guy to confirm what date he had for me on his system and he said the 15th am which is correct. So i'm pretty sure most ppl will be on the dates they booked. But we are talking about nissan here so don't hold your breath!
I still think all you 15am'ers should come to amsterdam on the saturday. As Whitey said there's plenty to do there! Either that or we'll race you to nurburg! But i think we'll come last by a long way!!!

Er, you do realise that Amsterdam is NOWHERE near on the way to the 'Ring?

And driving the Nordschleife whilst stoned/drunk/hungover is not entirely recommended!

We are leaving from hull so amsterdam is on the way! There's also lots to do in dam apart from smoking, drinking and sleeping with hoes! Amsterdam is a lovely place once you get out of the shit hole that is the red light district. Obviously when driving anywhere when stoned drunk or hungover isn't advisable so thanks for your advice.
