Time to hold my hands up

Some of you will have read of my issues with Middlehurst's Nissan in St Helens with regards my GTR order.

Well, I had some good news this week and I'm here to balance out the negative experiences I'd had with them up until now.

When I originally ordered my GTR I was annoyed with the overall lack of info from both Middlehursts and NIssan.

I maintained a good relationship with both Andy and Chris as I felt there was nothing to be gained by being difficult with them.

When Friday 30th May came and went without news, I rang Andy and asked whether my Satnav order could be downgraded to non-satnav. Andy said he would let me know in a week. Well, 1 week came and went with no news so I went to the dealership to ensure my face was never far away from their minds and reinforced my wish to have a non-satnav car with Chris.

Following that visit I went in again this week and I had teh good news from Andy that I will now have a July 09 car!

Add that to my "black box" arriving this week and my race day booked for August I am a much happier chappie!

I suppose the moral of the story for me is that being a little cheeky and maybe having a little more faith gets its rewards.

Roll on July 09!

Many congrats! The sooner the GT-R, the better in my book - good choice !

I'm sure the HPCs aren't out to wind up their customers; now things have settled down I'm also sure they'll do well, even when they are inundated with GT-R deliveries.... 2 a day every day for may, June, July 2009

this is certainly a better story to hear, and give them credit where credit is due for their help here. - cant help but wonder whether you managed to get a cancelled order form one of their 'disappointed' customers though??

There is no doubt in my mind that I have taken somebody's cancelled slot. I'm just thankful that they actually spent the time to sort it out.
