Thumbs up FOR SALE - USA R34 Skyline GTR VSPEC – Titled/Registered

I’m listing my R34 Skyline GTR VSPEC for sale on Ebay. It is a black 1999 VSPEC with only 47k miles.

eBay Motors: Replica/Kit Makes : R34 (item 250259322412 end time Jun-24-08 08:41:42 PDT)

This car was imported as parts and assembled here in the US. The car is in beautiful condition and mechanically it is perfect. The interior is flawless and everything works as it should including the display. Everything on the car is stock expect for the engine computer. It is a standalone APEXi Power FC with the handheld programmer.

I’m asking $60,000 and will consider trades or other offers within reason. The car is titled and registered and located in the US. It was inspected at the DMV and issued a VIN number and can be legally driven on the street.

Please feel free to contact me at exoticcarconcepts@gmail.com if you have any questions.

If it did not go through MotoRex, you might have some men in black knocking at your door.

motorex didn't even get the r34 legal. only the r33.

the only real legality issue may be how the parts were brought in to assemble the car..and that may be moot now it has a VIN. 17 digit? not sure. does he have all paperwork detailing the assembly?

seems okay.

list of authorized cars.

Strange, I know of a wise man that stated that he thought that Ebay might see an influx of GT-R's with the recent activity by the Feds in the US cracking down on illegal cars...

Post a picture of the new VIN plate affixed on the dashboard and the compliance docs. A State title doesnt make it a legalized federal car. Unless this car is a Kaizo or been through an RI it isnt US legal, end of!

it is a good looking early 99 tho....

The key to your link is in the title...the fact that it must be brought in by an RI...this guy says nothing of the RI process. I would be willing to bet my next paycheck that this isnt a legal car. Oh, lets not forget the OBD II requirement...

Also funny how its this guys first post...nothing like free advertisement!

Actual they got 12 or so through LEGAL before they were caught, so YES they did.

Like I said, they passed 12 through before being cuaght

I know what you are saying about the R33 being the only one with crash test data, but still does not change the fact that MotoRex was able to get a few R34 GTRs through the legalizing process.

re·scind /rɪˈsɪnd/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[ri-sind] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–verb (used with object) 1. to abrogate; annul; revoke; repeal.
2. to invalidate (an act, measure, etc.) by a later action or a higher authority.

now you know what that word means...re-read that last linky. or read if you never bothered looking.

On March 1, 2006, the NHTSA issued the following decision, rescinding nearly all Skylines from importation eligibility:

"This document announces a final decision by NHTSA to partially rescind a prior decision by the agency that 1990-1999 Nissan GTS and GTR passenger cars not originally manufactured to comply with all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards (FMVSS) are eligible for importation into the United States. As a result of this decision, only Nissan R33 model GTS and GTR passenger cars manufactured between January 1996 and June 1998 are eligible for importation. All other model and model year vehicles admissible under the prior decision are no longer eligible for importation. As a consequence, the agency is rescinding vehicle eligibility number VCP-17, which covered vehicles admissible under the prior decision, and issuing vehicle eligibility number VCP-32 to cover only those model and model year Nissan GTS nd GTR passenger cars that remain eligible for importation. The rescission will only bar the future importation of the model and model year Nissan GTS and GTR passenger cars that are no longer eligible for importation, and will not affect the status of vehicles that have already been lawfully imported under vehicle eligibility number VCP-17."

i doubt they were lawfully imported. none of their r34s did any crash testing. you should really look over the whole motorex case. they did alot of shady stuff. so did their ICI. anyhow...doenst matter. i dont want to get in a retarded internet standoff with someone who will take me to attrition on this. more fun watching epileptics try to color than haggle with you.

I never said they were lawfully imported, I said they were legalized.

Did MotoRex ever legalize any R34 GTR, YES! I hope you can understand that, that is as simple as I can make it for you.

I have been dealing with this issue for almost 10 years, I do know a lot of crap on the subject.

Why do you think I mentioned about the crash test data for the R33, dude! I have the crash test data results, do you? Not that its hard to get
