Detailing MR2 for sale (Loads of pics - no 56k!)

I've recently found out I've got to go to India with work for a month or two, just as 'summer' was getting going... This means that my 'summer car' is not going to get used. I was thinking of selling it anyway and this has just forced the issue.

It's a '93 MR2 turbo T-bar which I've had for 3 years. Not long after I got it, I thought I'd give an 'XS-Power' manifold and downpipe a go. About 2 miles later the previously reliable turbo grenaded... When we took the head off there was some scoring to the bores and det damage to the head, so I decided I was better off fitting a replacement engine. The car had about 90k miles and the engine was replaced with a 55k mile one from a crash damaged car. The turbo was rebuilt with steel internals by universal turbos, but I decided that having one car that could end up costing a furtune if I push it too far was enough, and this one has never been run at more than standard boost since.

It has been too long since I last 'detailed' it properly, and obviously I want it to look its best for sale so this afternoon I attacked it - and here are the results!

The Car:

Swirls on bonnet:

Roof:

Boot:

Wheels:
Getting them painted was still on my to-do list and I don't have time now, but I could clean them up a bit!

50/50 on bonnet - 1st pass:

The 'spots' are bits of dust in the air rather than on the car.

AFTER:

Bonnet:

Roof:

Interior:

Wheels:

Finished for today:

This was my first real go with 'Car-Lack 68' 'Systematic care' and I'm impressed. The sealant was a bit of a pig to remove but I think the results are worth it. I'll follow it up in a day or two with P21S Carnauba wax, fit the radio I was half way through installing, then stick it up for sale!

If anyone fancies growing a curly mullet and saving the day, then I have just the car.
