thinking of selling / p/x etc

think this is in the wrong part of the forum... mod's help

hi everyone, i have been a GTR owner for the past 3+ years and now toying with the idea of selling the GTR for something like a M3 i dunno why really, i just like them loads and owning one would prove cheaper than running 2 cars as i do now......

i dont really wanna go through all the bull $hite of test pilots and chavs coming round saying "lemmie have a blast mate" and dodgey fools knowing where i live and keep my car.... but on the same hand i dont want to trade it in for far less than its worth, and i would rather it went to a enthusiast as i am myself!

i spent at least 8 months looking for the right car before i found this one and a fair few on here can defo vouch for my car and the past cars i have owned and cherised over the past god knows how long

but if any doubt in the quality of my car i have 2 trophies from " BEST IN CLASS " and also went on to win " BEST IN SHOW 2008" earlyer this year at rising sun car show at wakefield.

im not too sure but i think it is also seen on 2007 JAE dvd as i was on the club stand

so im in a dialema as i dunno weather to or not..... i dont want to but i do want to..... help

anyone have any suggestions or a M3 to swap?

M3's a great car and you wont be disappointed. I have an E46 SMG Conv and it ticks all the boxes although its time to change as weve had it for a few years now. Dont expect it to give you that 'GTR sillyness' when you mash the pedal coz it isnt a GTR but the whole package is excellent. Only thing to watch out for is proper servicing and rear springs which break WAY to often. I went for an Eibach Pro-kit which was CHEAPER than a pair of replacement back springs!!!!!

There are plenty of M3's on the market so you can pretty much have your choice of spec and mileage. Like everything else, just take your time and be sensible and DONT buy the first one you see (unless its AMAZING )

TT

Are you referring to an E92 M3?? As nice as it is I find a LOT of fellow E46 M3 owners on the forum I visit would not trade their E46 for an E92. I have driven an E92 and while it is a fabulous machine I think the V8 actually spoils it IMHO. E46 M3 all the way
