Hi,

are there any known shops in the Bay Area that can use this tool to tune?

Must every GTR have one of these to utilize the map tune function? Or can one be used on multiple cars?

thanks

You can buy the AccessPORT from our website and install it yourself. It's very easy to use.

The AccessPORT is meant for one GT-R at a time. If you deiced to sell the AccessPORT or the GT-R you can uninstall the AccessPORT and the AccessPORT can then be used on a different GT-R.

Thanks for the reply. Does this mean the tuned map/settings are erased?

Yes when you uninstall the AccessPORT the car will return to the stock tune.

No, the AccessPORT comes preloaded with Stage 1 and Stage 2 maps for various RON and Octane levels.

In the future we will be offering tuning software but it's going to be a while before we have it.

yes will be no problem for EU cars. The AP already supports JDM, US and Middle east cars. The EU cars ecu will almost certainly be the same and if not we can capture the rom file and work round it.

We already have maps suitable for European fuel 98 and 100 ron with more to follow...

I really like the sound of the AP and I assume it will be available for UK cars but I'm assuming it will void Nissan's warranty, is this the case?

Yes when the EDM GT-R come out the AccessPORT will support them. Unless Nissan makes some drastic changes and redesigns the whole ECU.

I'm not sure what Nissan's warranty will or will not cover if you modify the car. I would guess that it depends on how nice or mean the dealership is. I have a friend with a FI kit on his cars and the dealership will look the other way and I also have heard of people with aftermarket air filters having problems with warranty.

i dont think it will be able to do anything if you have a vx rom. the only way you can find out is if you goto the cobb tuning shop and have the big programmers take a look at it and find out what to do.

Thanks mindlessoath, Unfortunately, I live in Thailand, no cobb dealer here. If it works,I will let my friend in usa send accessport to me.

Deric....

We are in Singapore and can confirm that we had no problems saving the map from an Amuse ecu into the AccessPORT before flashing in the Cobb map. We have not done it on a Mine's ECU yet but will be doing one very soon.
