Best Cam for my application

I will be receiving my GTR in about 2 weeks (currently on the high seas)and already the spending has started.LOL.
I have purchased HKS GTSS turbos, injectors, fpr and Nismo flow meters.
Which cams would be best suited for me.I dont want anything mad and also dont want to do any head work.I just want a set that will give me that bit more.Looking at the Tomei Poncam range.
Thanks.
Dave.

poncam type B will give you very nice all round performance. Any larger and it will get a little lumpy and wont be a good match for your turbos..

Agree with the above. Seem to be loads of folks that have fitted Poncam type B's with GT-SS's.

I'm looking at Procams for my forthcoming 2530's. The lowest ones in the 10mm range whatever they are. Cant be arsed to look up the tomei website but IIRC they are 260deg 10.25mm lift.

Yummy

I'm running GT2860-5's and I'm trying to get as much as possible out of them. The people building my head recommend going with 270/270 10.80mm procams. I'd imagine you should go alittle lower on the duration to suit the powerband of the GT-SS's and run as much lift as possible. 260/260 10.25 procams would be a good choice.

I think you can just use more lobe separation on std cams and get a good result...
If you are working to a budget / buy cam gears and advance inlet 4 degrees and retard ex 2 degrees ...
You DONT need to change cams yet.
Unless you specifically want to , so 260 or 264 ish /
If you want to run over 10mm lift Im pretty sure you have to grind some ally out of the head to clear lobes.

I have been recomended that a good match for the GTSS tubby's is the HKS 9.15 lift cams 264 / 272 combo.
